HOW TO INSTALL
Ensure the area is clean, dry and free from dirt by wiping with a slightly damp cloth and then let the area dry for at least a few hours before you begin applying the decals.
Freshly painted walls must be left for at least 30 days before application.
Make sure the decal is flat, open the tube when you receive the order and roll the decal sheets out on a flat surface.
If you have multiple decals on one sheet you may wish to separate them to make the task more manageable.
Walls are the obvious option, but you can apply the decals wherever you want. They adhere perfectly to any smooth, dust-free surface, such as glass, plastic, metal or wood. You can add a splash of design to doors, furniture or even mirrors. We do not recommend applying wall decals on wallpaper because there is always a risk that the wallpaper will peel off when removing the decal.
When you are putting up the decals, if you make a mistake with one you can peel it off and reposition it. However, once a decal has been in place for some hours the adhesive will have dried, so after that point we don’t recommend trying to reapply it elsewhere. The best option is to plan ahead where you want to put the different pieces. Locate where to position graphic and mark the spot using small pieces of masking tape.
Air bubbles in an installed graphic can be removed easily. Just apply pressure to the middle of the bubble with your thumb and rub out toward the bubble edges. The air will disperse along the adhesive channels.
HOW TO APPLY YOUR WALL DECAL
Your decal will arrive made up of 2 different components;
- Adhesive wall decal (the wall decal itself)
- Backing layer
1. Lay the wall decal out on the surface, with the adhesive wall decal layer facing you. If you have multiple decals on one sheet you have to separate them by cutting them apart.
2. Peel slowly the upper part of the wall decal/sticker from the backing layer, ensuring you have at least a small part of the piece that can be stick to the wall properly.
3. Place the piece where you planned adhering only the part without the backing layer.
4.Then, when the piece is stick to the wall on its upper part keep peeling down the backing layer while using your hands with a wipe to ensure the piece is well stick to the wall.5. Final Squeegeeing is one of the most important factors in Preventing Premature Graphic Failure due to edge lifting. Wait at least several minutes after the application to allow the adhesion to build to the functional bond level and resqueegee all graphic edges, overlaps and seams using firm pressure.
6. And there you have it! Enjoy and celebrate your well managed setting up.
DURABILITY, CARE AND MAINTENANCE
You can clean the decals with a dry or damp cloth.
We manufacture all wall stickers using a premium quality PVC-free adhesive film laminated to ensure durability. Our materials have a minimum of 5 year outdoor manufactures guarantee, so they will last up to 10 years indoors where they are under less harsh conditions.
REMOVING WALL STICKERS
When you feel like taking down the decoration, simply peel the decals off the wall. They are easily removable by lifting the top edge corner with your fingertips and peeling the stickers in a downward motion at a 45 degree angle.
Please remember to always remove the wall sticker slowly and gently, no matter how long it has been on the wall for. If you use a fast ripping motion there is a chance that you can peel off paint and damage the surface underneath.
If you applied the decals to another type of surface, such as glass, plastic or wood, the adhesive may be a bit more resistant.
Our wall decals allow a residue-free removal for up to 2 years. However, be aware that if applied to very old walls or furniture, the paint may peel off upon removal if the paint was already flaky or in poor condition. Always take care to make sure that your wall is suited for decals before installation.
